Banana-Nut Chocolate smoothie

Serves 2

Almonds and walnuts provide healthy monounsaturated fats and add rich nutty flavor to this sweet & creamy smoothie. Raisins add fiber, iron & antioxidants.

1/4 cup raisins
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1 banana sliced
4 tsp almond butter
2 tbsp walnuts
2 tsp cocoa powder

Soak raisins in hot water for 15 mins to soften. Drain well
combine almond milk, butter, banana & walnuts in a blender and puree to mix well. add raisins & cocoa powder blend to smooth. Garnish with chopped walnuts and serve immediately.

* add ice cubes or chilled milk
