strawberry milkshake

Who could possibly say a "no" to this yummy treat. Strawberry is a natural antioxidant. I have heard of many receipes for strawberry milkshake from strawberry icecream & flavours but all i like to add is fresh ripened strawberries. please go fresh whenever possible for your health & loved ones & for the environment. Anything that is readymade that might reduce work time is full of added chemicals, preservatives, toxins.

Ingredients:

Whole fresh fully ripened strawberries - 10 fruits per 1 cup serving
Whole milk - 1 cup - boiled & cooled.
Honey or Maple syrup - to taste
Sugar - 1/4 cup

Method:

Trim the leaf of  fruit & wash it thoroughly under running water. In a blender or juicer add strawberries & milk
with sugar. Blend them completely till they froth up. Pour in a sippy cup for your little one to enjoy.

Tip: Add honey or maple syrup for kids who have already been exposed to them. Avoiding sugar or extra sweetner is always good for health. Honey from your local region is said to reduce pollen alergy.
Please make sure to add either of the 2 sweetner listed. Add or reduce the number of fruits to your liking.
