Being positive is a whole lot fun while practising to be positive in everyday life is not that easy though. First knowing what is positive attitude & why a person should follow such an attitude will help simplify the job.
Attitude: It is a cognitive behavior of judgements. In a simpler terms man tries to act or react in a specific manner over again. Kids talking back to elders, teachers, parents is an attitude. Feeling inferior or superior is an attitude. Such attitudes can be positive or negative. Usually a positive attitude is said to enhance ones life occasionally a negative attitude also can influence a positive result primarily based on situations & the individual's talent of counteracting the situation.
Positive attitude: cultivating positive attitude from a young age will yield good results through out the lifetime while following positive at a later stage in life is also beneficial. Its just like "better late than never" policy. Positive attitude comprises of positive speaking, positive thinking, positive actions, positive subconsciousness.
Positive thinking: Always the mind should be filled with positive thoughts even while undergoing stressful situations, pain, problems etc. Having positive thoughts in mind when we lead a happy life is not that difficult but during the times of struggle & problems is the best of time to acquire positive thoughts to overcome in life.
Positive speaking: Such acquired positive thoughts should be spoken positive for which the words must be positive. Speaking negatively even though with positive thoughts might not yield good results.
Positive actions: Acting or reacting positively to a situation also induces greatly to get rid of the pain or the mistake committed. While actions are also called deeds where an individual always tries to accomplish good work. The good deeds should help someone to overcome their grief or encourage to achieve something is called positive actions.
Positive subconsciousness: Mind or the subconsciousness is the source for all happiness or illness.So keeping the subconscious free from stress is one way of spending life in harmony. To gain such harmony every individual has to work towards the goal of self-positive subconscious. Clearing the memory of all unwanted things by way of storing only happy & cherishing moments of life. For eg always registering in mind the nature, baby etc & recalling them when sad or pulled down is the way of positive subconsciousness.
So on the whole being positive or positive attitude is full of energy to think, speak and act righteously with an awareness. Let positive be the way of life where grief cannot suppress a mind, failures cannot discourage, while satisfaction & contentment fulfill the purpose of life.
Though the phrase is self descriptive i would like to attribute characteristics to it. Happy Home is a place where a family should enjoy relations with friendliness, love, affection & compassion.Healthy body is one well built with a good nutrionaly balanced diet, exercise, meditation & yoga. Carrot Rice
This is an easy to make dish often takes 10 min to prepare thus making it eligible for this column of recipes.
Ingredients
Carrots - scrapped - 2 cups
Onions r shallots - 1/2 cup
green onions - 2 twigs
leeks - 2 tbsp
chillies - scoured - 2
salt - to taste
garlic - minced - 1 sp
ginger - grated - 1 sp
oil - 2 sp
mustard, urad dhall, channa dhall, curry leaves for seasoning
cumin powder - 1/2 sp
fenugreek powder - 1/4 sp
cooked rice - 1 cup
cilantro, parsley - garnish
Method :
Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame splutter with all seasonings. Add chillies, ginger, garlic, onions one by one to pan fry till golden brown. Now let the carrot in & allow to cook for 5 mins. Sprinkle with salt, cumin, fenugreek powder give a stir to let the spices blend in. Finally add cooked rice & combine well. Garnish the dish with cilantro or parsley.
Tip:
green onions & leeks are optional yet healthy combines to add more flavor & nutrition to the dish should be fried along with onions.
Servings: serves 1 person for lunch & can be served with raitha or chips r pappad.
